What ropers can enter?

Limited to 60 teams

Western attire is required.

Can be any age - NOT limited to ropers over 21 years old.

Must have a current WSTR or USTRC card showing your classification.

This is a slide format. Any classification can enter. Not capped.

What horses can enter?

Any REGISTERED horse may enter.

  • AQHA (American Quarter Horse Association)

  • APHA (American Paint Horse Association)

  • ApHC (Appaloosa Horse Club)

Each horse may be entered only twice.

There are two payouts. The standard 80% payout and the Southland Incentive payout. All entries are eligible for the standard payout.

ONLY stallions enrolled in the Southland Incentive and horses sired by enrolled Southland stallions are eligible for the $150,000 Southland Incentive payout.
